Marc Wiederer is no ordinary restaurateur. Together with his wife Sabine, he runs a small but exquisite restaurant in beautiful Lower Franconia, which has become well-known beyond the region's borders.
With a menu that changes monthly, he offers seasonal variety throughout the year. He not only ensures that his suppliers are of the highest quality, but often collects his own ingredients on culinary expeditions. Always on the lookout for the extraordinary.

To mark the 20th anniversary of his restaurant, this short film was made in collaboration with MILANOFILM.
Marc spent two years filming with cameraman Jan-Oliver Haas at various times of year, temperatures and locations in the Schweinfurt area.
The result is not only a friendship, but also a homage to his homeland and a message to never give up.
